Stables are managed by John and Helen McDaid. John is a Master Farrier from Moville County Donegal and Helen comes from an equestrian background. Her father was an active horse breeder with whom Helen worked and gained experience before going on to gain her qualifications as an approved instructor with the British Horse Society and the Association of Irish Riding Establishments. The terrain around Sheephaven Bay is ideal for riding through magnificent unspoilt scenery. Day one of the Seven Trail ride will take you to the magnificent Muckish Mountain, traversing old tracks moors and bog.
