The hotel overlooks the rugged beauty of the Bay and the golden sands of Killahoey Strand lapped by the blue waters of the Atlantic is just a stroll from the hotel. The striking scenery of Horn Head, with many beautiful walks and hidden attractions is home to a variety of seabirds that can be spotted off the cliffs.
The hotel has 30 ensuite well appointed bedrooms with central heating, direct dial telephone, colour television, hairdryers, and tea and coffee making facilities. A number of the bedrooms enjoy the panoramic views of the Sheepahaven Bay and Horn Head, others enjoy the changing scenes in our mature gardens.
The area is awash with colour and texture - from Muckish Mountain brushed with wind and weather, to the three local brown trout fishing lakes of Purt, Sessiagh and New Lake - the natural habitat of swans, duck and other wild fowl that frequent the lakes during the year.

As you stroll along the golden sands of Killahoey and Tramore Strand you can absorb the changing landscapes and observe the silent beauty of Muckish Mountain which forms the natural backdrop to Dunfanaghy.
Nearby Ards Forest Park, situated in the Ards Peninsula, has miles of walks through beautiful mature trees, miles of sandy beaches, flora and fauna. The breathtaking vistas will leave you feeling refreshed and energised as you relax and amble along.
In the evening you can relax in the cosy ambience of the Seascapes Restaurant overlooking Horn Head and Sheephaven Bay. You will enjoy dinner at your leisure, complemented by fine wines. After dinner you can retire to the cosy Glenveagh Room where you can relax by the open fire with drinks in the company of friends.
